Herb Ritts
My interest in his personality was caused by his works. Herb Ritts was really very famous fashion photographer. He differed from others with his own style, he took black and white pictures often in Greek sculpture style.I'm going to show you my dear reader some of his photos which are interesting by my opinion. But before I want to tell you some facts about him.Herbert Ritts was born at 1952 in Los Angeles. His father was businessman and mother was interior designer. From childhood, he had interest about prints and shapes, he liked and wanted to study art. He was raised up in LA, when he turned 17 he moved in New York and went to college, where he studied art. in 1977 he took his very first photographs. this photos were pictures of Barely known actor in 1977 Richard Gere. He took a lot of pictures of him. Here's one of them.
He was developing his style and at 1981 he was Taking pictures of Worldwide known celebrities and models. He was working from magazines and was making covers of them.
Now I want to show you some photos of celebrities made by him.
As the times passed he was becoming as much famous as his clients were. His photos differed from every other with his American style, faces in photos were sexy and Healthy.
He was working for magazines. He made really legendary pictures for VOGUE.
Now I want to show you his most famous pictures with supermodels of 90ies.

This pictures made these models worldwide famous and desirable at every fashion show. We shouldn't forget herb's artistic works for Valentino's ad campaign and Artistic pictures taken for VOGUE and other ones featured with fashion.

By the end of his life he was one of the Hollywood celebrities and was as famous as people he was photographing.

On December 26, 2002, Ritts died of complications from Pneumonia at the age of 50.According to Ritts' publicist, "Herb was HIV-positive, but this particular pneumonia was not PCP (pneumocystis pneumonia), a common opportunistic infection of AIDS. But at the end of the day, his immune system was compromised."
Person is dead but his creatures are alive and reminds us about his existence, this is why art gives human immortality.
