When I first heard her name, I thought I would see Asian woman. But I was very surprised, because, this woman hadn't Asian appearance, but had really interesting face. as it turned out, she has Asian roots. Now some facts about her: Alexa Chung was born in England, and is of Chinese descent, having been born to an English mother and a Chinese-English father.
At the age of 16 she started modeling and she worked for Cosmopolitan and ELLE teen versions.
After 4 years of work, she quit that job and took courses about fashion journalism. in 2008 she made comeback and was face of Australian fashion brand. In 2006 she took up the job of TV host, and became famous because of her irreverent and awkward style of interviews.

Chung wrote a monthly column for British women’s magazine Company from October 2007 to June 2008. She then wrote a weekly newspaper column for England's The independent from November 2008 to June 2009, entitled "Girl About Town" and later "New York Doll". In June 2009, she was made a contributing editor of British Vogue and has interviewed designers such as Karl Lagerfield and Christopher Kane for the publication.
