Patrick Demarchelier Is photographer with own style.That makes him great, Right?
Born near Paris in 1943 to a modest family, he spent his childhood in Le Havre with his mother and four brothers. For his seventeenth birthday, his stepfather bought him his first Eastman Kodak camera. Demarchelier learned how to develop film, retouch negatives and began shooting friends and weddings. 
Patrick was joking that all his life he was surrounded by man, so he wanted  job where he would have been surrounded by women, and his wish came true. He's one of the leading fashion photographers. He knows how to take photos in the way to make them look natural. He speaks a lot with the people he's going to work with, and that makes them forget that Patrick has a camera and he's taking photos.
Now he has made 36 Vogue covers.
Before He became this famous he was big troublemaker, of course it was happening in his childhood.
Then he got interest in photography and later, he moved to Paris at the age of 20 and found a job in photolab. Then he worked for movie magazine and was slowly moving closer and closer to world of fashion.In 1975, he left Paris and went to New York to follow his girlfriend. He discovered fashion photography and was working with photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Terry King, and Jacque Guilbert. His work caught the attention of Elle and Marie Claire.
Big help for him as for Mario Testio became Princess Diana, She let the to take her photos. Here are photo made by Patrick:


He later worked for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, first in September 1992 . Demarchelier has shot international advertising campaigns for many internationally known fashion houses.
Demarchelier has lived in New York City since 1975.Since the  1970s he has shot the covers for nearly every fashion magazine including American, British and Paris Vogue.
